Ivan Ofoyimungu
Meet Ivan Ofoyimungu, 7 years old. He was born on February 19th, 2013. His mother is Florence Akumu. Ivan is the last born in the family of six children. Life has not been easy from way back and became very difficult when Ivan and his family lost their father in 2020. Ivan’s mother became addicted to alcohol because of too much stress, having lost her husband. Ivan’s elder sister who is 23 years has been taking on family’s responsibilities; paying school fees for her young siblings, buying food, medication, paying rent and many others. She has no a permanent job to pay for the family bills. Ivan’s older sister Rachel took their mother to their home village; she decided to take her and remain with her siblings. Life has really not been good for Ivan and his family.
