Christmas Food Basket & Relief

Over the last five years, we have been able to reach out to hundreds of families in many vulnerable community villages of Uganda with packs (Baskets) of food. Christmas is a special day to celebrate Christ globally with merry and joyful moments, friends and families. As a Ministry, we purpose to reach out to vulnerable families that cannot access some nice food on this special day. This food has played a huge impact but above all we bring the special love and the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in their homes. This special food is a tool to share love, kindness and the everlasting life in our Lord Jesus. Some families literally have nothing at all to eat on Christmas day. But now many families have understood the meaning of Christmas, got smiles on their faces as we share with them these food gifts. Through our friends and partners, this ministry has been made possible.

The Food Relief ministry is part of this program which has also witnessed hundreds of families in devastating conditions rescued with food. One recent terrifying condition happened in early 2020 during the Pandemic (COVID 19) where hundreds of families where affected by floods which washed away their homes in Katoogo Zone, a slum community village in Kampala city.

With our team of volunteers, we were able to come to these people’s rescue, resettling them and providing them with food. We relocated many of them to new safer homes. Most of these people are women (mamas), children and older people who were affected greatly. We still believe that it takes only God to use someone to donate towards these kind of helpless conditions which these vulnerable people experience every day.
